When you are emotionally injured, it may take a while for you to feel better.   Work toward healing a little each day.  Challenge your negative thoughts.   Acknowledge that they are normal, but they don't have to control you.   Choose a positive mantra that will help you snap out of the cycle of negative thoughts.   You have to be patient.  Letting go is a process.  Cry it out but don't let yourself wallow in pity.   Express and validate your feelings by keeping a journal or talking to someone you trust.   Focus on where you want to be now.
